Dash Glare

Hey WUWU...now, when the windshield is dirty, I get some HORRIBLE glare off the dash. Have you had a problem with it? If so, how have you dealt with it?

i hate how dirty the inside of a windsheild looks !! what is that from??

That film on the inside of the windows comes from vapors from the plastic in the car. The plastic is still curing. Windshield gets it the worse as the dash is right under it. It should stop doing this after about 9 months to a year. Till then nothing you can do except clean the windows often. Someone told me that if you leave the windows open when the car is in the garage helps.

I have a 3M microfiber towel just for cleaning the inside glass. This is an excellent product!! It's actually used for paint prep (removing bondo dust) and is <$5.00. GET ONE...

I may try those solutions. But I have no garage. No problems the last few days since it's been so cloudy...

When I move soon I may end up with a garage! That'll be so awesome...able to work with the car year-round (doesn't get too cold here but I was designed for 80+ and when it drops below 60, I'm freezing <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>).

No Bob not all micro fiber are the same. Ever since the introduction of them, many companies try to cheat their way into your wallet. The ones at your local auto parts store that sell for 5 bucks or so, are most likely from china,they use a blend of much cheaper material, so they can still sell it as micro fiber, but the results are way below the real quality towels. If someone were to get one of the better ones and try them, they will never buy the other ones again. The one you got in the mail, from that nice guy on the board, is the highest quality around right now. Those towels sell for 10-15 each, plus freight. How do I know this, BECAUSE I DO THIS ON A PRO LEVEL/ so Bob. much how was your towel?
