Painted Shift Ball

The paint on my shift ball was scratched. The original paint job was pretty poor; the paint scratched right off easily. So I removed all of the original silver paint and sanded the ball smooth, something that wasn't done before the original paint job. I painted the ball with Charcoal Metalic paint and then put on 8 coats of clear Polyurethane to protect it. Now it matches the interior of my '03 GT.



The pic does not do justice to the finished paint job but should give you an idea of what it looks like. I may buy another ball and do something wilder so I'll have a choice of colors to match my moods.
