Hello everyone. I have a 2002 cranberry PT with the factory flames. MY hubby didnt want to wait for another car to get in stock and at the time thought the base model would be fine. We never got the moonroof or power door locks with remote. I am really wishing I had gotten them now. Can anyone tell me what the cost of adding them now would be. Never too early to put in a request for Christmas. LOL
Any help would be appreciated. |

The moonroof i'm not exactly sure about pricing but the power door locks I got them done for about 600 dollars for a Clifford G-4 alarm systems and the 5 door lock actuators and everything installed, I think if you just want the power door locks only it will be arround the 300 price range.

Here's a cheap way to go for factory moonroof:
http://www.ptforums.com/zerothread?id=1863&page=1 read the posts - there's complete moonroof from a wrecked PT. You'd have some bodywork & painting to do, but cheaper than parts from dealer. On 2 other cars, I had "pop-up" sunroofs put in - one was fine, the other leaked. The one that leaked, I got a "bargain" on - the one that was fine cost more, but had BMWs, Saabs, etc in the parking lot. You often get what you pay for.

I had my Chrysler dealer put in a moon roof in my Town & Country van when we bought it. They had a company put one in that is just like the PT Cruiser moon roof. No painting or body work was required. The cost was $1,500. It shouldn't cost much more than that. There should be some companies in your area that install them.[8D]

Company here in Detroit put a moonroof in my friends Marauder. It was a little under a $1000. Good deal on it. It has the one touch buttons and it will close automatically. The place is called Ideal Sunroof.
