Default I know this has been gone over a Zillion times

I have been trying to find out if you can buy a passenger side lower seat frame with the drawer and put it on the drivers side I've looked at it a hundred times, took pictures to see the difference. I know passenger side has the full plate under the seat cushion. Looked on OEM parts and in my parts catalogue to buy the frame.Next step is to remove the seats from the frame and take measurements. If anybody has alrerady done this please tell me so I can save the sweat.

I'm recouping from knee surgery as we speak. I'm not sure if I could lift those seats out yet. Things are coming along so it won't be much longer till I have the strength in my leg to lift them out. That is why I've been on the forum so much!!!!

Gonzo:

I recall reading a post several years ago (yes--several years) on the PYDY,PT Do-it yourself site related to the driver side drawer issue. Bear with me here(i"m older now!); but, it seems a guy found a way to mount a drawer using existing seat frame. That site was "free" then, but now I think there is an annual fee. Good Luck!
