If you have been looking for some top-quality chrome A/C knobs for your PTC that can be seen at night those made by MGW LTD., Augusta, GA (Phone: 706-793-1770) may be what you want.
![]() Just put a set of these A/C knobs along with MGW's chrome doorpins on my GT Turbo and am very pleased with them. High-quality, triple-chromed, machined for a custom fit, easy to see in the dark--they are functional and look very sharp. MGW A/C knobs cost a few dollars more than other similar knobs on the market but no others I found were chromed to this high quality and made to be seen while driving at night. MGW has this to say about their product: "MGW is proud to finally introduce the new PT Cruiser billet A/C Control Knobs. It has taken some time to develop these knobs, as the factory design is quite complex. Needless to say, the wait was well worth it as these knobs really accent the interior of the PT Cruiser perfectly. Each knob is CNC machined from bar stock and uses the factory steel clips to attach, so they install in minutes and require no tools at all. Just pull off the old and put on the new. The best part is that that these knobs are also triple chrome plated, not raw polished billet so they never need polishing and also perfectly match the factory trim pieces as well as MGW's other interior trim pieces. To finish them off we also custom machined acrylic red inserts in the holes to glow bright red when the lights are on. This really sets off the dash and makes them very easy to locate at night. Cheap they are not but when you compare the quality, looks, finish and features of them you will see that they are well worth the price." I concur Gary, those AC knobs are great. Bought a set for my GT and love the look and the feel. The red dots looks great at night.
Revel Enterprises is now making a set with lights that match the rest of the instrument lights. I am enjoying my MGW's. I also added the Revel Enterprises Chrome Billet AC vent knob set and the Revel Chrome Billet Shift Knob for the Autostick. The shift knob is one of my favorite mods. Feels great, looks great and I don't cut myself on the rough edges that the plastic cue ball had. 2003 Almond GT, body colored rear splash guards, hood struts and front license plate frame, rear MOPAR door sills |

I also used MGW to order the Chrome oil cap and a chrome "EJECT" power outlet plug. Extremely nice quality. They don't make a lot of things, but what they do make is good stuff.

Thanks for the picture--looks very nice. My MGW knobs don't appear to get warm and I really like their design. The MGW people told me the reason they didn't make the acrylic insert blue was because they could not get an "identical match" for the DC blue light color. The red does the job real well (easy to see at night) and gives a nice contrast to the other lighting IMHO.

When I had my console painted to match my dash kit, (brushed silver /aluminum) I had them paint my control knobs and vent buttons to match. It looks awesome, (nothing better than a nice set of knobs turbomangt<img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>
