power door locks

hi all,

I have a base model PT and the only thing I miss is my power door locks. Any way of converting the existing locks to power? (reasonably in cost and difficulty!) thnx[:I]

My base model (2002, used) has power locks, just no "clicker" came with it, I went to a Hi-Fi place and they installed the "clicker" setup. They also had a kit IF I hadn't had power locks. I thought it was pricy, depends on how bad you want them.

I think Best Buy does it for $40 a door...Id check out the price first tho, its been a while since I was interested in that (because I had a base ford escort...piece of...)

might be cheaper to hire a wyno, let him sit in the car, and when he sees you coming he can unlock the doors, and start the car for you.

Got mine 40% done

Used the AutoLoc KL550 Module with GT2000 Actuators. So far I have the two front doors, parking lamps "wink" done.

Next is the rear doors, and the rear hatch.

Hi, New user and proud owner of 2001 LE with a related question.
How difficult is it to change out existing driver side actuator.
Ex...do you need any specialized tools? The part is $91 and installation is $125....would install myself if not to difficult.
