I believe that you can get what you are looking for at Home Depot or another same type store in the plumbing department. They have 1" chrome plugs for covering extra faucet holes in sinks. I have used some black plastic plugs that I bought at Sears Hardware for my door pockets.

They're called hole plugs. You need the 1 inch size. They also come in black or white that can be painted.

Lightbulb Re: Door Panel Plugs

Well my search for the 'newest' door panel plug thread only turned up this one.......I was wondering about doing the 'door pocket mod',and I've seen that most say 1" is the right size; But I was wondering if 0.875(7/8") would work I saw somewhere that the chrome 1" are a little tight?.....I found these 0.875 plugs that are $40 for 100: Cinch 41-F .875" Metal Hole Plug, Pkg of 100 | Alltronics
Or they also have them for .59 each: Cinch 41-F .875" Metal Hole Plug | Alltronics

These must be the ones 2step is referring to: HP 25 Black Nylon Locking Hole Plug Button Cover 25mm 1" GTC x 20 Pcs | eBay
Am I correct?

I've had them saved in my favorites for awhile now.....But,they don't have any door panel plugs like I'm talking about;I was looking at the Chrome(or Nickle) finish ones from Home Depot/Lowes....But,now I'm considering the black plastic ones, and then covering them with the black carbon fiber decal/wrap,to match the black carbon fiber vinyl I'm going to use on the door panel inserts.

If there is anything that is still avalible for a PT cruiser after market call and talk to the owner MITCH @ CMS.

There are hundreds of parts not listed on his website and thousands he can get through his distributors.

if that guy doesn't have what you need, i use this company for plugs, caps, clips, etc.

Chrome Finished Round Ribbed Tube Inserts | Alliance Express

they'll send out samples so you can try before you buy. you can likely find different versions of the cap in the link by looking in other categories.
