2002 PT Cruiser 2.4L Project

Hey I have a project coming up! Its my 2002 PT Cruiser.

I did some work on it today, and I decided to not sell it. It works and runs okay.

It has 131,000 Miles in it.

My girlfriend keep telling me to sell it but what the heck, I decided to keep it original and fix it up again on the exterior and interior. Car has been in my family. I was giving this car 8 years ago.

Here are some pics so far. It needs a fix on the paint job, and also needs some suspension work on the rear, as they hit me from the rear passenger side

That's still got potential . Bumpers are cheap. Good time to learn to paint if you haven't. Top dash is easy to replace. Fully painted bumpers would look like a whole different model.

I know, the rims I replace them with the 17' that come in the Turbo edition, and I wouldn't want to paint it my self because, i don't want 2 mess it up!

If you don't want to mess up, do it a way that it wouldn't matter......

...or use the same color that's on the bumpers.

that looks amazing. So the whole body repair with the same original paint will come out to $1,100 now is that a reasonable price?

Only damage is the bumper and right passenger side.

On this site;Your mostly gonna get biased respones like mine: "Heck Ya,it's worth it!"......I'm doing a 'resto' on my 2003 that a bought @ Police auction,so of course 'I'm' gonna say yes;I paid $1,000 for a 2003 Base....The way I look at it;Even if I put $2,500+ into mine I got a great deal!

that's true. mine has more personal value. I got it from family. u know!

Of all the things you will own your car is the only one that will take you to and bring you home so TAKE CARE OF IT
change the oil and filters
keep it in line
keep it maintained
I dont care if you say it cost this or that
It is you ticket to freedom
it takes you to work to the market to freinds
KEEP IT MAINTAINED

ok I did try to teach that but what really happened was Hey dad my oil needs changed ( usally over 10,000 miles)
Some days you just got ta say OH WELL
