Default The Anthracite Grey DYC Cruiser

Hello all,

I'm the guy with the Mayan Green DYC Cruiser thread on here. I recently re did a lot of things to the car including dipping right over the Mayan green and changing to Anthracite grey. I also painted my sub box black because I was tired of staring at bare wood the entire time. And got my subs reconed (it was my first time building and installing subwoofer recones) All in all it's been a busy 2 weeks or so but the end result is well worth it! On to the pics...

And here's a pic of the green in case anyone hasn't seen it yet. Hope you guys enjoy!

Awesome! Can you post some close-up pics of the anthracite gray? It kind of looks like flat black from far away in the pics.

You only drive during the day? Looks like your headlights would be useless.

Sprayed on. Search "dipyourcar" (no spaces) on youtube.

Thanks for the comments guys. The lights are done with a mixture of VHT nightshades and plasti dip smoke, with plasti dip glossifier right over top to give it a shine. The light shines through fine and I see well at night. All my HID's are 55 watt though so that's why. The fog lights are only smoked over so they help out a lot at night. I'll get some close up shots in better lighting soon! I took these with my nikon but there's a huge diff between this color and matte black. In person the metallic effect is unreal.

You need to watch videos on this if you have never heard of plastidip. It's a revolutionary product. It's a thinned down version of the stuff you dip your tool handles in. Its rubber. Here's what it can do:

-Change your entire car color for less than $150
-Super easy to apply with a cheap electric spray gun (like a Wagner)
-Very durable against rocks or salt
-Protects your cars original paint
-Can be removed whenever you want by simply peeling
-Can be mixed with other colors or pigments or metallics to create virtually any color or finish

I seriously recommend researching this stuff, you will be amazed.
