Well, had about 45 minutes to kill today, so cut about 3" off of the rear bumper cover to lessen the amount of air it will catch, Pulled the passenger side front door panel, arm rest Bracket, Speaker and power Mirror, kick panel, dash pad top, HVAC bezel. Didn't get any pics :-( as the wife had my phone.
Now I pulled the airbag cover off and could see the airbag, so put it back on for the time being. How the heck does the airbag come out?

HAHAHA, true enough, but I do want to use this car afterwards. The Neon platform was easy to remove the airbags. I may have to get the sawzall out for this one LOL

Had a few minutes to play with the PT, so used a 4" hole saw to vent the rear bumper cover

And here you can see from the rear wheel well

I'm interested to see what it would as a tin can. Are you going to make it look like it isn't gutted? Ie carpet no insulation, plastic with no metal behind it, look in the vents and see the firewall, etc.

I've actually promised to sell the interior parts to another PT fanatic local to me, so it will remain gutted; but the windows are dark so it will appear to be just a normal PT. Ill try to put the dash top back in as well after triming the dash so you can't notice it. I want to de-badge it as well as to not be identified as a GT, other than the stock intercooler.

Here is my 3" o2 housing. I cannot see me having this and catless dp on this year

Went from a 205 55 16 on the back to a 175 70 14. Didn't weigh either, but just by handling then, its a big difference. Only thing though, is I have a lot more exposed wheel well, hope it won't catch more air and slow me down

Wow that is a lot of space over the wheel! I guess your lightening really has made a huge difference!! Maybe you can try to clamp the rear spring coils together to lower it?
