The '00-05 Dodge Neon Coilover sleeves were swapped with the factory cut springs. Better option, but reasonably bouncy. It can work, but the springs are quite stiff. If I were 20, it would be perfect.

A little modification was required to fit them. Those can be posted if others are interested in those details.

As a side note: The Universal Air double bellow front bag strut arrived today, along with the Universal Air rear air bag brackets. I'll post some photos of those tomorrow or so.

Here's the bag over strut from Universal Air, Aero Sport's, for the front. The two brackets are for the rear, also from Universal Air. They are 4", fully deflated.

The Universal Air, Air House 2 rear bags, arrived yesterday. Sleeve bag with 2" height fully deflated. Even the Slam Specialties is 2.7", completed deflated. I'm not aware of a slimmer bag when fully deflated. This will allow a lower lay out.

As a side note: I ordered the Dodge Neon front coilovers from BC Racing. I'll receive them, tomorrow. It's a fairly expensive way to build the front bag struts, however, it'll give the lowest drop with the ability to significantly tweak the height.

Here are the BC Racing Coilovers that came in for the front bag over strut. As you can see, the bottom mount is also threaded onto the shock. This makes it very versatile and tweakable.

Side note: These were purchased as the Dodge Neon SRT4 '00-05. PT Cruiser is not an option.

For anyone interested in building this air ride, here's the details.
Cost for front bag over strut setup:
Universal Air AeroSport Bellow bag over strut (2): $378 + shipping
Universal Air BC Racing threaded lower mount (2): $70 + shipping
Universal Air custom machined upper mounts w/ delrin bearings (2): $275 + shipping
BC Racing bottom strut mounts (2): $100 + shipping
BC Racing threaded shocks (2): $190 + shipping
BC Racing upper lock ring (2): $15.90 + shipping
BC Racing lower lock ring (2): $15.90 + shipping
BC Racing lower spring seat (2): $15.90+ shipping
3/8 Hose 1/4 MNPT straight (2): $8.28 + shipping

Rear:
Universal Air Upper Bracket Kit 4.75" dia., 2" tall, 4" AT side (2): $49 + shipping
Universal Air Axle Pad (2): $39 + shipping
Universal Air Air House 2 (2): $130.98 + shipping
3/8" Hose 3/8" MNPT 90 (2): $15.10 + shipping

It's taken a decent amount of research and decision making, to determine which valves, controller and digital gauge I was going to settle on. To include, what size air line. I decided to go with 3/8" line (contrary to my Saturn, running 1/2" valves and lines). For the installation and setup, I'm looking for more comfort and ease of use. Running 1/2" valves/lines on my Saturn, the rear end will jump off the ground. That's not what I was looking to do with the PT.

I decided to go with AirLift's V2 3/8" manifold and controller. There's a number of presets and nice features. I had considered AccuAir, however, couldn't justify $2,100 for the controller, manifold, and leveling feature. The V2 is a little more reasonable, running $1,100 for the manifold and controller/digital gauge.

Thanks.

By reference, I'm assuming you're referring to link.

For any others interested building a similar setup, it might be an idea to post and track cost for parts for this setup. I may do so. As I stated previously, this is not a purchased kit. This is a Universal bag, piecing the items I need together to work with this specific application.

=) Nope. Hasn't been cleaned inside in 1yr+. Other than test driving the suspension modifications, hasn't been driven since last summer either.
