Just read all your thread from the beginning. Amazing story. I'd love to see a video of your Cruiser. Great work.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I may do a walk-around video at some point to show some of the things I've done with the car, but I have numerous projects in mind still, so I'm not quite ready to "document" it just yet. Anyway, thanks for taking an interest in my project. Forums like this are great, everybody gets to enjoy what other members are doing.

I had already installed all new speakers previously, but I finally got to install the new Kenwood stereo. Bought the mounting trim plate and connector plugs from Crutchfield. Install was smooth. It's a 50 watt per channel unit, so now I'm able to take advantage of the new speakers. I spent a few years when I was younger building and competing with competition sound systems, so as you can imagine, I was motivated to expand a little more on this system. The easy solution was a powered 10" subwoofer from Rockford Fosgate. It fits nicely tucked in a few inches behind the back seats, and doesn't take up a whole lot of space. It's actually not much deeper than the subwoofer itself, so I didn't lose a ton of trunk space. And it does have quick-connect plugs to easily remove it, if I would ever need to, but this is not a daily driven car, so I can't see having to remove it any time soon. I'll get some pictures of the sub, the stereo is loaded with cool features, but it doesn't look all that exciting!
