Got all the front end glass on the Panel Cruiser back in shape!
Replaced the old, "peppered" windshield; and today had the old scratched window tint replaced.
"Clear as a bell" now!

I already had the windshield/rear engine cowlings off, replacing the plugged up windshield sprayer nozzles.
Got that all done and cleaned up the cowlings too.

I got up early enough this morning to miss the worst heat and finished weeding my last bad flower bed.

Then, I stood in front of the big fan in the garage and pre-wired the Panel Van for the upcoming LED headlights.
I installed a lighted toggle switch on the dash, just above and to the right of the fuse cover.

Pictures will be forthcoming.

At least John at "Custom Halo Creations" keeps his promises!

he finished my Halos this week, and shipped them today.
I should have them early next week.

WHOO HOO!!!!

Finally....SOME success!

Today the LED headlight assemblies from Custom LED Creations arrived!

Here are two pictures, static, and with LEDs lit!

There will a delay in installing the, as:

1. I was on the original battery (8 years????) in the 2011 Challenger SRT8, and the battery died this weekend.
I got a new Premium Interstate today.
But, now the trunk lid won't open with dash button or key FOB.
I'm getting advice from my fav dealer service manager, and several web sites.
So, I have to get that sorted out before I can swap out vehicles again.

2. When I install the lights, I want to loosen the Pteazer Smoothie Bumperette on the driver's side to improve the fit a little better than the insurance body shop did. (Yes, it's just my day driver! But, little crap like that bugs me!

So, this evening, I jacked up the front end, removing the grill and bumper.
Looking ahead....I am sure that I can do a much better job at adapting the bumper on the driver's side than the body shop did after my accident.
-No adjustments were done on the front circular hangers near the grill (left a larger gap).
-And, only one bolt on the driver's side near the wheel....they had torn the second hole up on the upper fender! So the bumper and fender did not approximate well.

Double checked the wiring to the engine bay from the toggle switch on the dash....and yes, I was lucky....power "on" when switch flipped upwards.

Lastly, before quitting for the night, I constructed the wiring harness to ower the LEDs, from the passenger side headlight to the driver's side.

Tomorrow morning....installing the new headlights!

Well, I finished up late this evening on installing the "Custom Halo Creations" headlight assemblies.

Problem is, right now the Igmur photo page is acting up, and I can't post pictures right now.

I ran into a little trouble trying to readapt and install the driver's side of the Pteazer Smoothie Bumper.
The previous body shops had pretty much lost all the OEM mounting bolts.
They had one make-shift one, and I had to create another myself. It was a real PITA because of limited finger space.
I think that I will order some OEM body bolts; and take another shot at it in the future with the headlight assembly out. I can probably use JB Weld or something to insure they stay in place on the upper fender.

Hopefully, I will be able to post pictures tomorrow.
But even the pictures will not do them justice, as the Halos blurt out any details when they are on.
Unlike how cool they look to the naked eye.

I will not necessarily be looking forward to the Morette masks arriving in the future.
