Panel Cruiser went to airbrush guy on Monday.
Wifie is getting irritated at me cashing checks for these things! ![]() I will take it as my Christmas Present; as she never buys me car stuff! ![]()

I finally got the Panel Cruiser back after the third body shop iteration.
This time, they Cleared the two panels on each side where the airbrush guy did a fading, waving flag for me. There are also a few body color curls on the front doors and rear hatch. There is a silver metallic beltline stripe between the Deep Ocean Blue and the Flat Gray Metallic. I 've been waiting to take some pictures outside until I got this much done. But, the weather here is not cooperating. I will take more picture when the weather clears. This will have to do for now. ![]()

I picked up a used under hood chrome panel for $50 from a guy who no longer wanted it.
It was in pretty good shape. But, to me the simple "etched" flames weren't that exciting. So, I am going to paint the flames a Metallic Blue, to match the top body color of the panel van. Unfortunately, temps here won't even be in the 30's until next weekend. So, it might be a while before it's painted. ![]()

THE PT IS NOT A SNOW PLOW!!!!!
So I have not had the Panel PT back from the body shop but maybe 3 weeks, and now I have something big to fix! ![]() We've had the 2 rounds of snow here in Okieland with a little of the problems that Texas is encountering. But, when the main road got cleared and drying I started going out to the store. **The problem is, It really didn't sink in to me that I had lowered the Pteazer front end! ![]() The higher snow between the wheel tracks on my secondary street must have refrozen a little my last time out. You know, the thick places where your street intersects a plowed street. Sure, I heard the rubbing! But, I DID NOT EXPECT THIS...just after the car was repainted!!! ![]() So! Now I have just one more PT project to work on this spring. ![]() BUT....I will repair it in a way that will rebuff even concrete parking stops!
