Hi Handy! Would you happen to be near Russellville, AR? I'm out over a grand so far on my 01 cruiser and no mechanics will listen to me pretty sure bc, #1. I'm not a mechanic and #2. I'm a woman. It would be great to chat and see if you have any insight to offer. I've read these forums for weeks straight and have yet to come across a thread that mentions my issue or my series of issues.

Handy - want to swap taillights?? My Gen IIs have the chrome trim installed on them and i don't care for it. If yours are in decent shape I'd trade. I can't seem to find a set of Gen IIs in the yard. They are always taken.
(See your new convertible post for photos of my taillights in a reply.)

Handy - any chance you could check on that '04 Platinum in the yard by you to see if the Winged Badge door sill guards are in good shape? The driver's side one on mine is completely shot.

Hi Handy, hope all is well. I have been changing the alternator in my 2003 LE without the 2.4 non turbo while following your method. So far so good, alternator is loose and unwired and off the mounts but I cannot get the lower bracket out so I can drop the motor and maneuver the alternator out. There are 3 bolts to get the bracket off. What's the trick to access the 2 bolts at their top of the bracket? Appreciate your help, thanks!
