Shopping for '07 or '08

I am shopping for my dream car, I have wanted a PT Cruiser since they hit the road. I am finally ready with cash, email me any great bargains. I live in Springfield MO. At the moment I have found new '08's in AZ for less than '07 in MO. I can fly most anywhere for $100 and drive it home. Will consider used '07 with low mileage and clean CarFax report.

Do not believe Carfax reports. The reporting of major damage is voluntary, and therefore most companies will not do it. I have personally bought three cars that had major collision work, that Carfax said were clean. Im working on a dodge ram at the shop that carfax says is perfect, come to find out, the truck was involved in a MAJOR collision, and the Frame is bent to the point of replacement. the owners are not happy. be careful when it comes to used cars! sorry for the long speel.

Do what you can to get a true history , if you do buy used.
**Distance - no problem! I just found the vert of my dreams on e-bay, flew to California, and drove it back to Oklahoma.

Michelle, I have to agree that the Carfax reports are not the greatest. I was looking on ebay for a low mileage convertible and used the autocheck reports that they have available. They turned up things on them that the "Clean Carfax Report" did not show. One was a fender bender in Florida, the other car had frame damage and neither showed up on Carfax but did on the autocheck. I know ebay is not always the best place to buy things but I got an 05 turbo lite with 6000 miles with a clean Carfax and autocheck for 12,000.

take a look at bobriddings.com in taylorville il they have used 07 starting at $9700 low mileage i bought my 06 te with 12500miles for $9500. yesterday they advertised 29 used 07s

Thanks evry1 for all your help, I have found and '07 with 100 dealer miles on it for 12,400. I got panic attacks thinking about false CarFax reports, sticking with new to be safe.
I have another question. Do all the back seats come out, or is it just a specific model?

In all of the sedans ....the back seats come out ...if it is a convertible....they tilt forward only....enjoy it!
