There was a Cruiser club here in town that fell apart a few years ago. It was being sponsored by a Chrysler dealer, but apparently the manager there left or lost interest, the web site went away, and the club disbanded. A few of the PT guys went to the MOPAR club on the Kansas side, but mostly everyone disappeared. I went to a couple close cruises with the MOPAR club, but I'm the only PT ever parked in the middle of a bunch of old classic MOPARs.
There are quite a few PT s in my area, incuding several customed, from mild to well, almost "what?". And I'm sure there are more in other areas of Kansas City I haven't seen. I've considered making flyers, or cards to put on them when I see them, but I don't have a lot of interest in running a club myself. Hell, in my little neighborhood there are a least a dozen PTs, even if they aren't customised.
I've talked to other PT owners (my car gets their attention), but most aren't as interested in a club if they don't have something fancy done to their own car.
I'm up for suggestions, if any of the KC area people want to start nailing something together.

Yea I hear ya man. In springfield ive seen maybe just enough good cruisers to count on one hand. most of em around here are old ladies driving theirs. even people ive raced couldnt believe my pt came stock turbo'd.
