Any cruisers in the Michiana area?

I am in South Bend. Just curious if there are any Cruisers in the area that would like to get together some time! Maybe do a drive in some time this spring/summer??

There are a couple in my neighborhood as well as mine. I'm around the Pinhook Park area. I see a ton of PTs driving around town and wonder why anyone hasn't tried to form up a club ... but if they're like me not too much spare time available.

Getting together would be fun though !

There are tons of PT Cruisers running around everywhere. Only a small group, lucky us, look at them as anything other than transportation.
The guy I just bought my 02 Dream Cruiser from just wanted someone else to spend money on the cute car his wife insisted on him getting for her.
There is another 02 in my neighborhood that isn't mine but it might be should they choose to sell it. There is also an 06 GT turbo car driven by a guy who didn't even know what that meant.
Car enthusiasts aren't like other car owners. I've got a few early hot rod projects that are in the "barn" (one a T-bucket roadster pickup,waiting to get rebuilt after a fifteen year nap, one a 29 Model A Ford Tudor waiting to be started, one more T-Bucket roadster I put aside for the 03 Dream Cruiser my son insisted I had to have, ha). I've never had an old car that was alive that I didn't drive everyday and often was my only car.
Enjoy these PTs while they are still cheap as dirt and fun.

OK ... I just read in the South Bend Tribune that the PT Cruiser Club of Michiana is holding a Cram-a-Cruiser food drive at the Martins on US23 & Ironwood Saturday May 16 2015 10:00am-2:00. It also says it is the 4th year for the event. Hummmm ... no one must be a member on here.

Anyway I have a gig 9:00am-11:00 in Elkhart, so I'll stop by probably around 11:45-12:00 to get some info on the club.
