HI GUYS, I have been a little busy. I was planning to cruise over to Paul`s
but it got called off, because of the weather. It has been crazy. For sure !
Ran into some PT Cruisers in Ohio and Indiana, that was fun. We are
going to take a ride and eat dinner and if its not to late when I get back,
I want to post something about that cool looking hood scoop and some
other things.

Doug

Glad to see you're still with us, you missed my call today, but, you were probably still on the road. Just glad to know you're still breathing!

Thanks Darrin and Paul. I have got that hood scoop, new and still in the
plastic. I was glad to see those pictures of it on a PT. Ruth also likes it.
Maybe I will look for a hood. Now that I know what it looks on a PT.
Very cool, I must say !

I didn't realize it was a scoop, I thought they were entire hoods!

Ordered the chrome headlamps rings for mine, overpriced little bastards! I think one place had a set that were similar to Wingman55's, but, they were about 30 dollars more!

Ok, I'm curious, what does the hood scoop look like?

Today, I was done running around by 9:30 am. That was so nice!
Ruth and I headed out to metro beach and enjoyed the Sun.
There were Not very many people around. After we left the beach
we headed down Jefferson through St. Clair Shores and followed
it to until we got almost to Detroit and could not see the water any
more and came back the same way, except we stopped at 9 mile
for lunch. I think everyone who had a vert was out today with the
top down. So very cool !

Doug

Paul, in the next week or so, maybe we can meet up with Darrin and
you guys can check it out. The boot and the scoop were never used.
In fact the top was never even down one time. Both wrapped in plastic.

Well, got a refund for my chrome headlamp rings today along with a note saying they are on 'National Back Order.' Which is code for no one makes them any more.

Ya lost me.... what do you mean the "boot and the scoop were never used.
In fact the top was never even down one time. Both wrapped in plastic"? What does that mean?? The top was never down on your car?? The Convert boot? You buy one for your car? Lastly, show us a pict of this scoop? I'm real curious.

Sorry Paul, I did a poor job explaining. PT is a 05, We have had it for 6 yrs.
The person we bought it from was a engineer for Chrysler. In fact you might
know him. Tomorrow, I will find his name. Anyways, he never put the top
down. In fact, no one ever sat in the back seat. When Ruth and I opened
the trunk, the scoop was wrapped in plastic along with the boot also
still wrapped . I hope this makes more sense.
