WOW, gonna be chilly willy this week guy's.... don't freeze yer giblets off..... let your cars warm up for at least 10 minutes and make sure the tires are aired up. The Jeep had the low tire (actually all 4) low at 28LBS. Cranked up the compressor and upped the air in the Jeep and the 02 Red Ride. Both sit outside. Convert in the garage is toasty warm under moving blankets and cover.... sleeping the winter away with garage heater on for the last 2 weeks. Holy propane bill Batman.

Just a suggestion, if your car is kept outside in this really cold temperature, like mine are, you may want to drive the car at least a mile or so before checking the pressure.

Your warning indicator should go out as the tires, thus the air in the tires, warm up returning your PSI reading to where it should be. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Cranked up the compressor Monday and added air to the Jeep tires. Low tire light on for a couple days and all were at 28PSI normal 35. Didn't use a gauge but adding air counting to 7. Next morn drove Jeep and light went out and each tire read 35PSI. Added a few slices of air to the red PT... counted to 5 so should be good to go. My method used for years has been pretty spot on.

Ahhh!!! You didn't mention your indicator(s) had been on for a few days. I've only had a couple of cars with the low tire indicators and have found for the most part just moving the car for a mile or so will have them go out in extreme cold. It has happened two or three times on the '10 so far this year, but, when it warms up a bit I will check my right rear tire since it has come on each time.

Stay warm, Paul and everyone else!

Light is now out on the Compass.... the ole 5 seconds there about must have done the trick. Cycling through the settings read outs now says each tire at 34PSI.... good to go. Now whereas the 02 red ride... haven started in 2 weeks nor driven it. Sure the "beast" will crank up with the fairly new this past spring Wally World 2 year battery. Will wait on that one till Saturday when it's a balmy 35 degrees... Sunday to 43 DEGREES might just run around the back yard in my underwear I'll be soo excited. Just think of the temp swing from -35 to +43. My perspective is this.... one day it's 30 out... 3 days later it's like 80.

Buddy at work says he wants the 2002 red ride.... told him 1500.... hope to buy the 2008 for dirt cheap so out of pocket will be under 2 grand

My neighbor offered to buy my '04 Dream Cruiser tonight, I told her it was not for sale.

If the 'RedRide' deal falls through let me know, though I sure she'd prefer an automatic.

Or if anyone knows of a low dollar automatic for sale let me know.
