Had a doctor's appointment a couple of days ago. Normally, because of traffic, it takes nearly 20 minutes to get there because I stop for every light. This time I almost had to stop for one light and was there in 5 minutes.

The only real change I've had to make is restaurants I'd normally eat at, I now have to use DoorDash or pickup myself since no one has eat in anymore.

EO 2020-21 by Governor Whitmer

'Effective at 12:01 am on March 24, 2020, for at least the next three weeks, individuals may only leave their home or place of residence under very limited circumstances, and they must adhere to social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention when they do so, including remaining at least six feet from people from outside the individualís household to the extent feasible under the circumstances.'

You might be a little on the optimistic side, Chuck.

Wishful thinking Darrin.....I Cruise Edward Hines Dr daily in my PT, always crowded with Bikers, Dog walkers, Hikers, Mom's with children, and So On.....

Still have Engine Light Blinking on my Dash but car runs great...

Disconnected my Negative connection on the Battery for a minute or so (per PT Manual)...Light went out for an hour or so but then came back on after one hour drive ???

I'm thinking Catalytic Converter (2001 PT) or Cylinder Misfire, Engine sounds and Runs Great but Exhaust has a slightly inconsistent output ???

I think I will drive it until it Dies then have Purple Heart pick it up ???, Or try to sell cheap as a Mechanics Special ???
Chuck

I'll give that a try...

OK I tried the Key Dance and it showed P1684 and P0304

P1684 says Engine Light is Blinking and P0304 indicates #4 Cylinder is Misfiring...

So I'm going to check SP's, Wire's & Boots...

A.K.A. The Walking Dead!

Worst case, we'll hook up and put my code reader on it.

The 1684 is pretty common and why it sets in memory is a mystery. Usually battery disconnected or instant momentary battery loss. The 0304 code is misfire plug#4. With mileage of last tune up unknown. I would 1st off do plugs and wires... I prefer NGK V-fire and GOOD wires. Anti-sieze and dielectric also applied. Check wires going into coil pack from main engine harness back at corner of cyl head. Also I like a good shock treatment of Chevron Techron Concentrate fuel treatment in about a 1/2 tank of gas.... big bottle worth dumped in to clean the intake lower tract and injectors. Battery disconnect for about 5 minutes to clear PCM memory of active codes.
