ive gotten it stuck and high centered a few times.
I have a 68 mustang i also off road and also got stuck and high centered a few times aswell.

my srt also lives on our local Road Course and on AutoX courses
never drag raced

if i had another purpose built car/truck id race it.
i need to find a truck

Hi Nevin...I've been around forever, but have just re-registered with my newer address. I'm in Carlsbad, and we have the Cavern Cruisers.
There is a group near you in Los Lunas, the Road Runner Pt Cruisers.

They're a great bunch of folks, and although some are older than you, they are still young at heart and dig having fun. There are several Cruisers that are about your age, so it wouldn't be just us old folks.

They are hosting an event, which I have out in the Events Calendar, for October 24-26, 2008.

I'll try and make it. were gonna be in Roswell at the end of the month my wife wants to run her Cruiser at a lower Alt. to see what it can do.

but i'll deffetnely look and try and meet up with those guys.

I'm picking up another old fart, I mean a friend, at the Sunport on the 22nd. She's flying in from Rhode Island, and she's visited the Alb area. She's been down here to Carlsbad and to my Ruidoso for my PT '06 and '07 events....so she's really looking forward this. I'm going to take her up into the hills for a couple of nights after the event, and show her the biggest beautiful mtns in NM. You'll know her, she's the one that tawks about caws in the pawks.

So see you there, and the organizers will be glad to have some more local people there.

Hey guys....
I'm with you on the squat quads Robert. They're the **its up in the mountains and I can only imagine how obnoxious they are down in the Alamo area. I use to motorcross (yeah, just Powderpuff stuff cuz I'm a goyl- but I loved goin' fast on that 250 Yammer) and endurrrrro on my little Hodaka 70. It looks like tons of fun that you and your boys do! I'm old and gimpy now, but I still got bumps and dirt on the brain.

There's going to be another NM PT Cruiser event, and I'm calling this one the Cloudcroft Mountain Cruise '09.
I posted the info here in the Mountain Section and in the PT Events section. I hope some can make it to Ruidoso and Cloudcroft to enjoy the mountains and the fun!

We'll be coming down to Pepper's in Alamo to eat I think....we did that in '07 and they treated us pretty cool, so when it goes smooth and people are happy I say don't mess with it!

Even tho the couple that made this lives in Phoenix, and it starts there, it still gives an idea of the fun we all had. They chose not to cruise to the top of Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, and they went to Lincoln instead, so that's not in there. (they were nice enuff to take the ones that couldn't do high steep roads on a Lowlanders Cruise)
