Well, i'm back( pulled into the driveway at 3AM). Good news & bad news.
The only real bad news is we had our digital camera( along with 3 media cards) & a 35mm stolen. I was changine Liam & the they swiped it right from under my nose. About $750 dollars worth. Not to mention ALOT of pictures, that were almost priceless.
Virginia's family lives there, that was the main reason for going there. Her cousin was getting married, & this was the 1st time in 20ish years the ENTIRE family was together, so it was pretty cool.
As for me I haev a pretty bad case of bronchitis. I get it rather often, but not within the last few years.

Bigdogdad, if you want ANY info let me know. Ther ei sjust to much GOOD to type. It would be easier in an email or phonecall. Plus you can talk to my wife directly if you like. I have some phamphlets i'm reading(houses & such) & website info I will post up later. But if you seriously want to look into it. There is a website that I joined, but havent read or posted much on. It is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/americans_in_panama/
I can tell you that when you do buy a house there, you pay NO sales tax, nor do you pay tax on a car.
Well, I have to get going.

Oh yeah.......Man, if felt Soooo good to drive my PT again.

espresso, I too am sorry for the camera thing. So many important memories have been lost. On another subject, I went to your link and checked out everything other then the forum (which I will join shortly for more first hand info). Looks very nice. I am still 10 - 15 years away from retirement but if the price is right I could sell out.
