I sure can. I was intimidated with all the buttons and switches but went to talk with a Ritz camera employee and ended up purchasing a Fujifilm 2600Z. It's really user friendly and I was virtually taking pictures in less than five minutes training in the store. I also bought a Smartdisk reader thats plugged into the USB port of the computer and lets you insert the disk from the camera after pictures have been taken. Really easy and I can take a picture and upload it to the computer in about 2 minutes. Talk to someone who has a digital and ask questions. Once you get one you'll never go back to the old way of buying film and waiting for it to be developed. There's some really good deals out there too.

Agree with CREWZIN totally. A digital camera is the only way to go--today you get more features, higher-quality, for less money. Once you use one IMHO you won't want to go back to using film and a scanner. I also would recommend looking at a RITZ camera store as, at least from my experience, their employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have had a Canon PowerShot S300 for well over a year now and have been pleased with it. There is a comprehensive report on digital photography/cameras in the recent issue of Consumer Reports magazine which should be helpful to anyone thinking about "going digital." Good luck.

anything over 200$ will give you a good camera, ive had 3 $100 and under, and there all junk. I then got a little smart and got the Kodak "easyshare" Dx3215. It was 299.95 Canadian at the time. any thing with a real name and over 200$ should do you.
my 2cents
