Default Gas Price check...

I normally dont start these types of threads. I was actually amazed when I drove the car to get gas yesterday. $2.41 for regular. Was was like WTF. Mind you I dont mind paying high prices( in 1997 I was payign about $6/gallon in Japan), if you think about it, fuel is still just about the cheapest liquid by the gallon you can get. But at the rate it is going up is fu**ing nuts. I had 6 5 gallon cans sitting at home & have been using them over the last month( had to get rid of it) & the damn price must have jumped 27 cents a gallon.....IN A DAMN MONTH!!!
I am SO glad I sold my Tundra when I did( back in Dec). It got 13 MPG & was IIRC 26 gallons. That is WELL OVER $150 month in fuel alone...damn.

Yesterday when I filled up the van regular was $2.31, as I was filling up they changed the price to $2.33. Today when I drove by it was $2.39 But as you mention, in all reality its cheaper then almost any other nation. I deal with some customers in Europe and prices are in the 6 to 7 dollar range.

[:I][xx(] This am going into work, gas was 2.35 comming home it was 2.45. It's gonna get worse folks. The oil companies are loving the flucuating price for crude. They raise gas prices pretty quick when a barrel goes up but take their sweet time when the price of a barrel goes down.

Here gas is $1.04.9[lets say $1.05] and $1.07.9 for mid grade and $1.10.9 for prem. and this is per litre...self serve[:0] This makes it awful expensive to cruise around unless you really have to[xx(]

I have a GT so I buy 91 octane at Chevron and it's $2.63 a gallon here in Chandler, AZ, at least the last time I filled up a couple of days ago.
