Don't worry everybody. This administration has proven itself over and over again.

They will take care of everything. I mean, when have they ever failed us?

Hey Artie!
For someone who hates everything about the USA, conservatives, and anything else Bill,Hillary or John(I served in Vietnam...), tells you...that is sure a conservative, suburban, middle class lifestyle on your cardomain page. Bet you hate it too...seething with all this political angst amid peaceful, Rockwellian scenery. You could pack up and move to Berkley, but then you'd have to face that you like a modified car and being seen in it. Have to trade in for the Volvo or Subaru. Secretly at night you slip down to the basement of your colonial style 2 story, put on your Willie Nelson or Andy Williams cd's and watch NASCAR replays...

No Gold one...I was offering John Kerrys oft stated record of military service. And I honor your Father for his service. I did not serve in Vietnam. My draft number was 132, they were going through 250 the year I was 18. However they dropped to 125, leaving me 1A, but at home. I never felt hostility towards any who served as some did. A good friend was on the cover of TIME magazine, one of only a handful of survivors in his unit, cut off for quite some time from reinforcements. He's never recovered mentally. For years I ate supper listening to Walter Cronkite, the nightly "casualty count";reports of hills taken,withdrawn,retaken....yet although I did not serve, I was surprised at my reaction to the movie "The DeerHunter" when first released. Similar movies regarding Vietnam...all affect me deeply, I find no entertainment in watching them. IMO...it was a time of terrible social unrest coupled with a war directed more by our own politicians than our military. I believe Iraq would have become a new version(of vietnam)if we had elected Gore or Kerry. Be proud of your Fathers service and other heroes like him.

So, if I live in a nice neighborhood, I should be a NEO-CON? I'm not sure I see your point here.

just like to interject that prices have began to fall around here, i left school in pa and prices were 3.09 for regular, came back sunday and it was 2.99 and today 2.98 it will go down, how far who knows. but gas is a nessecary evil, unless hydrogen power makes major leaps gas will still be our main supply. we can either complain about it and be miserable or we can deal with it, live our lives, drive fast, take chances and enjoy.

Hydrogen? As in Hindenburg?
The numbers get kinda iffy with H2, cause first you gotta use electricity to yank the H2 away from O.
then you gotta SQUEEZE THE HECK OUTOF IT, using even more energy to give you a reasonable supply of 'miles' in a tank that fits in your car.
You end up with a tank of compressed explosive gas (which means you are not allowed to drive thru tunnels) or you CHILL the HECK out of it to Liquify it, and end up with a very cold thing in your car that wants to Expand like Crazy.

The net is 'h2' economy makes sense if you got Gobs of electricity to make h2 fuel.

so where do we get the Gobs electricity?
Coal? Which just trades mobil pollution sources for immobile sources. or clean, safe nuclear, which generates no Greenhouse Gases.

if thats so then why has BMW and other companies already have test cars up and running, they have had them since 2001.

I'd like to point out some articles from popular mechanics

http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...y/1266826.html

those talk about hydrogen fuel cell vehicles we're close but not close enough
