Default This county's pitiful..SW FL people read

I can find a damn alignment shop in this ENTIRE COUNTY to do an alignment on the car. It wont fit on ANY racks. I have to take off the damn bumper. We tried one rack & itjust about high centered on the frame rails, after it drug the bumper all the way up & just about ripped it off coming down...this was with the extended ramps

I really wanted to get the alignment done before the trip, but looks like it isnt happening.
So if any of you know of a place that deals with lowered cars please let me know. If you need to know the height of everything.

Front bumper is 3.25" off the ground.
Front lowest part of frame is about 4"

To compare to anyones car.......
Front fenderwell height( measured as if to draw a straight line through the center of the wheel)=24.75"
Rear just under 26"

These measurement were taken with 38PSI in the tires.

Thanks in advance.

Tom,

I'm at 5 1/2" in front...only 4" on the sides till I hit the LED lights. That extra 2 inches on the front makes a big difference though. Just had my alignment done at the Chrysler dealer and put boards in front of the lift so the car would be raised before it hit the ramps. Did you shop try any boards to get you higher before hitting the ramps?

I've never been to that area, but here is a suggestion. Look for an old shop that has a partial or full pit that has ramps even with the floor. These are often found where big trucks are serviced. Good Luck.

I've tried that purple. There are no flat lifts around here. I aske dchry here & they dont have any boards & dont want to take responsibility if somethign happens. Same with othe rplaces. They dont have anything. You actually have to go to another count to get a alignment on a lowdered car. I've talked with anyone I can find in teh phonebook & online & NONE will take the car.

It doesnt matter right now away way as we are not going due tothe fact that orlando is plum out of regular fuel & most premium.
