News Item - Mice with Plague

In Newark, NJ, seems a research lab working on vaccines can't account for three lab mice that had a nasty strain of the Plague. The mice have been missing for two weeks....No idea where they are.

If they got out, and give it to the huge rat population in Newark,....

This is NOT in any way political - just an area for concern...

Just heard that news this morning on the local station. The manager of the lab where they are supposedly missing the mice says that he doesn't think they are actually missing, that there was a miscount of all the mice and they aren't short 3. []

"New News FLASH" the latest I heard was that they now think that MAYBE they were eaten by thier cellmates, (cagemates). Not a bad idea for all of the pedofiles we have out there.

I don't think so! It's got to be BUSH'S fault! Where was he??? Running around New Orleans trying to fix the devastation in an area the size of Great Britain instead of watching those dirty rats! The guy just can't do anything right!! I think it must be a Republican plot to ruin the environment by endangering lab rats. Cindy Sheehan needs to camp out in front of the lab and protest until Bush comes to apologize to oppressed lab rats everywhere. Where is Jesse Jackson anyhow? I think there should be compensation for the rat families at least, with a cut going to him, of course. [}]sorry, don, the debbil made me do that. No, the mice were injected with plague so they could be released in New Orleans immediately after the 25 ft. hole was blown in the levy. That way all those who were not immediately killed by the flood could die of the plague. This is the Bush "War on Poverty." [?]

By golly, I think you're right! Now we need to spend several million dollars having a congressional investigation and CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS and the New York Times will have fourteen stories each, all exploring how Bush and Karl Rove plotted it all in Texas over the summer. And Cindy Sheehan will give an interview crying and claiming a rat ran across her sleeping bag when she was camping out at Bush's ranch and she is sure they were "testing" it on her! The only thing that saved her was it saw Al Sharpton first and tried to build a nest in his hair.

..and this evening I hear that Cheehan has weighed in with her opinion re;The big sleazy mess. Seems she thinks Bush should pull the troops out of there too.....Hey, maybe she can be on a ticket with the democratic mayor?!!

I've got an even BETTER idea! Let's pull out the tropps and put CINDY in charge of New Orleans! And since I am sure she abhors firearms, DON'T let her have one of the nasty things to defend herself. Let HER march in bravely and have a dialogue with the gangs. Boy, I'd love to be a little rat in the sludge of the city watching that one! Hell, she'd make the mayor and governor look competent!
