Today's paper mention that not only can we probably expect gas to hit the $5 mark but they are also preparing use for a shortage! Get your cheap gas now.

The station I have been using went from 2.55 to 2.69 overnight. Most in the area are up also. Anywhere from 2.69 to 2.90.

LOCALLY OUR STATIONS RAISED THE PRICE .03 OVERNIGHT. Remember when we were complaining about close to $2.00 a gallon????[xx(][xx(]

As it is, we will continue our use of gasoline as we have NO alternative if we have to drive either to work or for pleasure. We grin and bear it.

Ah.... I remember in high school one guy had the car and the others, if we wanted a ride on the weekend, had to chip in for gas. Solution?! We went to the mall parking lot and picked up all the pennies and the occasional nickel or dime and then proceeded to the nearest gas station. We usually found about dollar, sometimes alittle more. Price of gas? 25 cents a gallon. I tell you, 3 or 4 gallons would take that car around the strip many of times.

Anyway, now that my daydreaming is out of the way, it looks as if we're safe for now but those terrorists are now planing on bombing the oil fields trying to through a whammy in our current gas problems here.

gas fell al weekend at home and at school, at home is was 3.03 friday and school was 2.82 sunday it was 2.99 at home and 2.76 at school and it dropped a penny at school, i think any price hike was an anticipatory price hike, and also theres gotta be plenty of cases of gouging.

I remember the gasoline price wars in 1957-59. $0.18 a gal!

Am I dreaming [:I]....or is it not a Federal Law that states when gasoline goes in an underground tank, the price that it is being sold for at that time, and for each grade, must remain the same until the next time the tank is filled? Someone set me straight, please!
