I am not a lemming...
Going into Afghanistan made sense, invading & occupying Iraq was an extremely BAD idea - not in our best interests.
Common sense and logic are not the exclusive domain of liberals - altho the Bush-lovers seem devoid of both.

So Don your saying that supporting our troops is wrong? You don't support our troops unless you agree with the administration?
It really sounds like your saying that bashing the current admin is all you care about.

It's one thing to support the troops, another to support the dark side.

I wish someone could explain to me how you can support our troops by bad mouthing what they are doing, telling the enemy they are fighting that we are wrong and telling them that their efforts are in vain?

My dad was in nam and lived thorough the same group of people telling him lies that he KNOWS he never did. QSD will tell you the same. I discredit these people who bash our troops, they don't see the irony in their own argument 99.9% of the time. Same group of people who hated Reagan..... dont even get me started.....

And I don't understand how you can support a war with changing reasons.
I see no facts that justify our having invaded Iraq.
You have heard that there wasn't WMDs, didn't you? That WAS the stated reason - imminent threat and all that...
The same bogus logic existed during Vietnam.....
The most sensible thing I can do for our troops is voice the opinion that they be used wisely, not be put into unplanned and nebulous situations that do not serve American interests.

Don, we have hashed this over and over. The prospect and the possiblity that Saddam had WMD spurred our actions. No matter how much you deny or ignore it the facts remain that for the last two admins Saddam was a threat and his ouster was our goal.
This is not Vietnam. I realize that is the focal point of your life but one has nothing to do with the other except in the spin of the liberal media.
