Well, lets just say, generators are great! Wilma beat Charley hands down, for me anyway. Still wasn't in the thick of it but Wilma was a good one. Got some damage to the old home front this time but nothing to cry about, its still all there and fairly easily repairable. Not crying one bit! Took some pictures but when the wind is knocking you down on your butt the pictures might be burry. I'll try to upload them soon. No flooding because I was on the good side, the tide was actually about 3 feet lower then normal, the following day the water was over my dock! All in all I was lucky because the winds mostly came from the north which is the side of my house that is mainly cement and two small windows. If the storm would have came from the west, I most likely would have had many broken windows and much water damage. I will have storm shutters next year, no more putting it off.

Well, goto go for now, have to start putting up Halloween decorations that even though it took me over three weeks to put up I was able to take down in one day. [?]

Crewzin and some others were still in Myrtle Beach when we left Sunday. Not sure how long they were planning to stay....

Yep.. He was heading to Va. after the "Cruise The Beach Show" in S.C. He's up in my neck of the woods in Midlothian, Va.

Hooligan and the pther PT'ers from Space Coast PT Cruisers left Sunday. We (wife & I) stayed Sunday & Monday in Darien GA and returned Tuesday noonish. Had no damage at the homestead, 4" of rain, the Space Center reported one wind gust at 94 MPH. We live just 6 miles south.

Hey Hooligan,

Glad to hear you made home ok, and found things in pretty good shape.
Had hoped to meet you at MB6, sorry I missed you. Maybe next year!

I knew some of you guys were headed back, some staying in MB a couple of days, and some going on to other places before heading back, but I couldn't keep track of who was where! [:I]
