Gee Arty given your hatred of capitalism and your political leaning I would think this would be your favorite flag.

But if one of those big oil companies invited you to perform and paid you for it, you'd turn 'em down right? Yeah, right! Have a look at Arthur's website and big corporate list he performs for... he doesn't mind taking the money from The Man himself! Can we spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y?

Well, you don't have to love your boss, do you? Of course I wouldn't turn down work.

These oil companies are robbing us blind, just like Enron did a few years ago. Am I not allowed to criticize this ridiculous state of corporate welfare?

And what's with you guys always going after me and what I do? You have taken a page from the Rove playbook. Always attack the other side on a personal level.

Instead of making it personal why don't you keep the focus on the issues?

The issue is supply and demand. Simple as that. Capitalism at work. It is why a ball player gets millions for playing a game and a teacher gets peanuts for teaching. The supply of people who can excell at ball is smaller than the supply of people who can be teachers. It is like that with everything.
The supply of oil is in demand in other countries and they are willing to pay for that oil. If we want to lower the price we have to supply more for ourselves from our own. To supply more we need to drill more and build more refineries. Something the envirowacko left obstructs us on at every turn.

Arthur, my point is not to attack you personally, but the fact that you profit from the very people you criticize and without free enterprise there wouldn't even BE a demand for what you do. You are always speaking up for biting the hand that feeds you. Basic economics is, like Satellite said, supply and demand. The very people who obstruct our being energy independent are the first ones to scream gouging and whine about high gas prices.

Reminds me of the "Give Blood" ad campaign where the girl describes how this plant was polluting the environment and making kids sick, so she organized to have the plant shut down. But once the plant was shut down, half the town was unemployed, so they lost their health insurance, and were twice as sick as they were before.

Be careful what you ask for.
