Anywone bought one of these? My parents were thinking of handing over the $500 for one of them..... I was looking to see if any of you had bought one and is it worth it?

After years of buying many $159 junk vacuum cleaners, we
bought a Dyson about a year ago
Fully satisfied with it, and are amazed by what
it will pick up - should have bought one
years ago

The only thing is that the belt protection system is a little sensitive, i am thinking about calling them on it.

Worked at Home Depot when they first came in, had a class on all the things it could do. Best part about it is no belts and no bags to replace, all the plumbing comes off for easy cleaning, and it really does what the commercials say it does. A bit pricey at $500, but will probably be the last vaccuum you ever buy.

Maybe I could buy one for my wifey, for Christmas? I'm sure she would love it, just as much as the snowblower, I bought her one year.... [8)]
