Default Dodge CALIBER at Detroit Auto Show

Sence everyone is talking about this. I thought I would post this cool looking Cabiler with a body kit I saw. I like it, but some of you "old timers" won't. You may even say it looks to "ricey" but it deffinately is modern looking.

I think it's an improvement, and I really like the monochromatic red w/ dark wheels look.
I am, however, still at somewhat of a loss as to how they see this car as a replacement for the Neon that will captivate the younger demographic.
To me, it's kinda like taking the Dodge truck styling cues and applying it to a PT replacement (does anyone else question this logic???)

Anyway, I hope that it turns out to be a hit whether I 'get it' or not

Well, actually it's a bright Orange, not Red. Red would have been better. And this is rumored to replace the PT not the Neon. The Neon will be discontinued. When I say replcae, I'm only talking about the engine and chasis, not the body style from what I here.

Dodge Caliber is replacing the Neon and not the PT. I'm waiting to pass final judgement on it when I see it in person. I don't like it in pictures. The main reason I got a '05 SRT-4 instead of waiting for '07 when the Caliber SRT-4 comes out. Supposed to be 300 hp with the the All World engine and maybe AWD, but if it is as ugly in person forget it.

Your right, I saw it on TV the other day. It is going to replace the Neon. But rumor has it will also be the platform for the next PT generation. And they said it is AWD.
