Default Model Making
Well, I'm in the process of making another (3rd one) Corvette Model. Our club put on a show at the local strawberry festival and like my cruiser, I keep a model on top of the engine just for a little show. When we were leaving, I forgot about the model and let the 50lb hood slam down on top of the little Corvette. You can imagine what was left. [] I just won an auction on eBay for a year pretty close to mine so I'll be busy glueing and painting when it gets here.

No John just a lot of little scratches that I touched up. That litle model didn't stand a chance against the weight of that cowl hood.

nice to see another grownup(or old fart like me)that likes to build models even today! Has anyone seen a good PT model? I've seen the convertible kit, but not a regular PT in kit form. The metal models are ok, but I enjoy plastic.
Oh, and just bought the wife her own PT....a '03 base model, black, 5speed, cd changer, ac and thats about it. She loves it. So we're a "mixed" familly now...black and cool vanilla!

I have about 120 plastic scale models (classics, rods, low-riders) all made by myself at 1/25 scale (AMT and Revell), here are my vettes...
