I also find plenty of irony myself. Here we have this coming together of such a large sector of residents vocally stating that they want to have all this United States stuff and what kind of flags are they waving? Is it the Stars and Stripes to show their aliegence, to include themselves? Sorry but no. They're waving the Mexican flag (and some other flags) to show their distain for America (USA). They have no shame proclaiming that they are NOT American and no pride to say they are American.

Another problem is the security aspect - with illegals, we have no idea who's here...

When you are here illegally, you have no rights to march for. i would have used the national guard at the demonstrations, rounded them up and drove all there asses right to INS detention stations for deportation.
I am tired of paying for them. they are a drain on the american economy. enough is enough. i will not hire any contractors that employ mexicans. it burns me up when you try to tell them what to do, they don't focking understand you. they don't even try to learn english. yet i have to learn spanish?[:I]

Most of my family came from post WWI Germany, and I must say I am disgusted at what these people say. My ancestors had to fight to get into this country, and when they got here they considered them selves so lucky to be here, that they worked some of the most awful jobs you can imagine. Then in WWII they were locked up because they were "German-Americans" They went through hell to be here, and the PRIVLAGE of being here was so great they never complained once about there living conditions, the jobs they had to work, and the language that they learned. They were proud to be here, and they did almost anything to stay here and be good honest citizens. Now I am tired of hearing how awful we treat these people, how they are struggling. They got everything handed to them on a plate. Money to live on; free health care, a guarantee of food on the table. Heck the only thing that we don’t hand to them is a truck to get over the border on. My ancestors had it 10x's worse then they do... They should be f**king thankful.....
