Default We have puppies!!!!!

Pam and I would like to again thank all of you for your support when Bonnie was so ill a few years ago. Your support helped Bonnie and us get through a very difficult time. We would like to share with you our latest, fantastic news on her.

Bonnie, our miracle girl basset hound, had her puppies by c-section on June 2nd. She had five very healthy and active puppies. Mother and puppies are doing well.

I will update my Club Photo album as I get new pictures of the puppies. Here is the link: http://members4.clubphoto.com/don284...ner-758f.phtml

WOO-HOOOO!!! How exciting!!

Glad to hear everything worked out. I know it can be really scary when stuff happens to the 4-legged members of our families... saw so much of that at both the SPCA and the Vet where I worked.

Enjoy the next 8 weeks! And suck up some puppy-breath for me. There is NOTHING better than really good puppy-breath!!

We're not sure. It will partly depend on how they turn out and how our other planned breedings go. We're not in it for the money. Our objective is our next generation of show dogs. We'd also like to promote and improve the breed with what we do. We've got a few months to decide if we want to breed her on her next cycle or perhaps next year. Bonnie comes in about every 6 to 7 months.

I don't remember if you've posted anything about it specifically before... but have you shown her? Do you show any other dogs?

It's nice to read about someone that actually cares about the next generation and the direction they are taking it, rather than the money or something to the tune of "oh then the kids can see the miracle of birth" or "the neighbors like her and they have a registered dog so we made puppies" or, the worst - "she should have one litter before she can be spayed". AAAACK!! Can ya tell I worked at the SPCA for 4 years?!?

KUDOS TO YA!!!

... and don't forget that puppy breath for me, ok?!!
