storm season underway already !!

Bob,
Just got back from a week long tour with the Hot Rod Power Tour just in time for this "hurricane". We're in one of the expected areas to be hit with the storm surge and mandatory evacuations are in effect for the low lying areas. The winds aren't anywhere near hurricane strength but the water is supposed to do most of the damage. I'm 22 miles from he coast but high enough that I don't have to worry about flooding.

There was quite a bit of flooding in other areas. We only saw winds around 20-35mph and a lot of rain, no worse that a typical summer thunderstorm. Report of a couple tornado's touching down (in other areas) also.

Alberto...the non Hurricane was more media hype then anything else...Watching the Weather Channell is getting to be a real joke anymore....

glad alberto wasnt much, they have had enough to last a lifetime down south!! the weather channel hypes it all up in hoping it keeps you watching
