Default Need Help with pics Crewzin????

ok, I just got back from vacation and I can't post pics anymore, seesm club photo where all my pics are stored changed their security and upgraded the address bar where the URL image is stored. when I copy and pasted it in PTcruiserlinks somehow it doesn't recognize the upgrade and changes the URL, thus not allowing the pics to come up. I need to know how to adjust and get pics to show up, I will need phone assisitance, someone to walk me through it, like I said I have little or no skills with this stuff. any appreciated. here is my pm address if somone can help me gary@perfectautofinish.com

Gary,

I'm no expert but lets try and see what's happening. When you go to the picture that you want to bring over, you hit the right mouse button and click on "properties". You get the URL address that begins with "http://" and ends in ".jpg". Highlight that line from beginning to end and save it by using "Ctrl C". Come back here and in the reply section hit "PIC" and in the reply section two sets of brackets should show up "[/ img]" Put your curser between the two sets of brackets and hit "Ctrl V". That should put the URL of the picture between the two sets of brackets.

Is that what your doing?

Yes, that is exactly how I'v ebeen doing it for years, now I get a red x. club photo says they did change the URL in properties, something to do with securty, not sure if I believe that. but I do know the URL IS different. Crewzin do you use club photo< if so do you see a difference? Jody contacted me already, I wll see what he says about this also. check out my post under testing, that is what I get now. this is frustrating, Gary

I have a paid "Gold Account" and plan to contact Club Photo on Monday to get the problem corrected. [8]

A lot of us had our pictures on Imagestation and then they changed their policy about hosting "their" pictures on forums so the pictures came up with RED X's. Most of us switched to PhotoBucket ... www.photobucket.com It's free but you can update the free membership to a $25 yearly fee for improvements. I know it's a real pain to transfer over as you have to move a lot of photo's from one place to another, but it may be the only way out of your situation.

NOPE - Not working for me either. Funny, I can post this same pic in other forums, but not here. When I go to the properties for the picture, they/re not the same as I put into the image reference. I put in http://img.clubphoto.com/ocelot/albu...sition=2;jive=

but it comes back as:http://img.clubphoto.com/ocelot/albu...ion%202%20jive

It seems that symbols like "=" and ";" are not being parsed properly on this site. This seems to be only happening here, because I was able to post the picture properly on two other sites. I took the URL directly from a picture that posted properly on one of the other sites , ao I know it works.

If you post your picture's url as a link (without the [img] stuff aromd it, people will be able to see the picture by clicking on the link. like this:

http://img.clubphoto.com/ocelot/albu...sition=2;jive=
