Bob,

I go to 3 or 4 cars shows a month. Some give more than a fair bit for your entrance fee, others nothing. Going to my 4th show this month this coming Sunday. $12 pre-reg, $15 day of show. You get a dash plaque, T-shirt and a voucher for a free small pizza at the place that's giving the show. This past Sunday was a Corvette show. $25 pre, $30 day of show. Dash plaque and golf shirt (collar with 3 button in front). Most of my shows are $15 pre, $20 day of show with only a dash plaque but usually a good looking trophy (if your lucky enough to win). They shouldn't charge for spectators, keeps a lot of people away. As for the price of the show, some are for charity or local organization so the money goes to a good cause. Other are just greedy.

I go mainly for the dash plaque. Trophies are a bonus. The ones I attended were for charities, no charge for spectators.

Well, I am sure it is listed what is included before you register. Guess you just need to decide if you enjoy showing your car or not. I have been to shows both ways. I enjoy showing my car. Goodies and a possible trophy are just plus' I do not count on!
Just my .02ΒΆ worth.
