My wife is planning to get a new car later this year--she is considering the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica...
. The early reports I have read are all favorable. We went for a test drive last week and liked the vehicle very much--nice styling, AWD, excellent handling, plenty of power (V-6/250hp), high-tech electronics, and loaded with safety features.

Gary, I think it's a good choice! The power train is tried and true out ot the Chrysler 300, 3.5 V6! Autostick and the suspension is out ot the Mec E class! My wife can't! unforunatley she has 2 years left on her Grand so she will have too!

Thanks for the information, kgdptblue. Our only real concern is buying a first year production model as it seems to take "a year or so" to work out all the bugs (if there are any).

Yes but you bought a GT right? The turbo and engine is a new design where as the complete driveline in the Pacifica is not. There are however alot of electronics and electrical systems in the new Pacifica... so you would be taking a little risk there but Chyrsler has a good warranty.. maybe by the time she is ready to buy there will be more feedback.. Good luck!
