I would love em, if I could find em. I just added a post and didn't see any to add ???? I'm looking now to add one but don't see them anywhere.

there are 4 ways to get to that

1 - click on new thread button
2 - click on post reply button
3 - click on quote button of a post
4 - click on advance at the quick reply at the bottom of the thread

then you will go to a message editor, on the right side there is a smilies section containing 1st 15 smilies. click more to show a full list of smilies available.

quick reply at the bottom of the thread does not link to smilies section.

Well, I know what you mean, but this forum is exactly like my Corvette forum and my Tampa Bay PT Cruisers forum and I can see the first 15 smilies in those forums, but I see nothing here on the right side of the message editor. I hope it's not just me?

Maybe I have some setting that's wrong not allowing me to see them.

Crewzin, I clicked on Post Reply on the lower left corner and always have been able to see the smileys.

I didn't change anything but must have checked something as I always get a email that a response has been posted. I went in and then unchecked what I thought would stop the response e mails, but still get them.

I just clicked on "reply" to post this and still don't see any smilies. I knew you posted because I always check the box that says "instant email notification". I know they are supposed to be right beside this reply box I'm writing in now..but there's nothing there. :=( I'll go check my "User CP" items to see if I did something wrong.


Checked all my settings, updated some but see nothing about smilies.

Just below my post is a button that says "Post Reply", that is the button you use to reply. When you use that button you should see the "smilie". As I write this they are there. etc.

The "Post Reply" is what I always hit to post. The smilies aren't showing up. There's a few underneath, under the heading "Post Icon" but they aren't the ones that show up in the reply. The screen to the right of the white square where you write the reply is light blue in color and blank, and I can't move the screen any further to the right like I wasn't getting the whole screen ...no smilies. I haven't the faintest idea why I can't see them.

Under my "Signature Permissions" it reads "smilies YES" and all the other permissions are YES except "Allow HTML NO". Would that have anything to do with it, why I'm not seeing smilies? I also don't have the bar that lets me have highlighted text, slanted text etc. or or add a picture to replys.
