Nextel Anyone

For my graduation from high school present from my parents I got a nextel i880 to replace my aging sprint a840 from samsung..
How do you all like the service if you have it. So far so good but I havent tested it. And how do you like the direct connect feature? I have yet to test that... knowing nobody who has nextel... I was thinking of getting my dad to get a nextel phone here to use that feature.

i had nextel for about three years always worked good but was way to expensive switched to verizon

Nextel works great where it works. What I found was that far too often there is no signal. That may have changed since the last merge with Sprint. I used the direct connect with my bride frequently. I hope it works out for you!
