Got this off my Corvette forum warning everyone about new speeding fines in Virginia.

i dont understand what is the purpose of tax on fines and so many random fees.
just some excuse to earn money.

It is just revenue generation plain and simple. I feel for those who live in Va. They need to really let the politicians know they will pay dearly for this come election time.

Hey Carey,
A lot of the increased rates only apply to Va. licensed drivers which is quite unfair. With some of the new laws, you incurr an annual amount you have to pay for 2, 3 and 4 years if you want to keep your license.
