Yes, I'd say he was really lucky, but, check out some of the other short clips at that link that are titled "Luckiest Man Alive", they are truly lucky too. A tracker trailer completely runs over a car and the guy inside the car is alive and unhurt. Another one where a man is walking across the road where a road race is taking place and a car misses him by inches and others.
