This is a scam that is on Ebay.....& many other forum sites.....some will even send you a large check....& ask you to cash it send your item & send the balance....at first the bank clears the check....but within a day it shows up as a bogus check & your account is deducted.......by this time the item & your money is sent......this sounds like they want your personal info for fake credit card purchases......no matter how good it sounds DON'T DO IT!

hi bob, how do you know it is not a legit buyer?

paying by check and asking for name/address is necessary for check.
it seems normal.

although for me, i will usually pay by paypal or money order.
and if possible, i will go through escrow.com

i have seen scams like this thats why i dont think its real
