Default 5 STAR ?

Last weekend I dropped by a brand new super size Dodge dealership that handles all makes of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep. It is the consolidation of 4 smaller dealerships. Beautiful building, marble floors, and 5 stars painted on the doors. How are they a 5 star dealership with no sales or service history? No complaints yet???

Very good question. You might want to e-mail DC and see what their response is...[|)]

I have come to believe that "5 star" only means volume dealer. Nothing to do with service. In some dealers the service is good but from the majority of what I have heard at this forum and others, good service is rare.

I think I could guess DC's response. It's not worth 5 stars either...

but it makes great fertilizer [?][?][?]

From what i heard all a dealer has to do to be a 5 star is buy the signs and royalties to D-C. Like Goldmember said it's a marketing gimick!! Like Fords "Blue Oval" dealer deal.

Buy the Parts inventory $$$$
Have certified mechanics that cover the projected base.
Buy the computer tech access.

Non of which says a thing about how they will treat you or your car!

Every Chrysler dealership that I've seen here in Canada is a 5 star dealership...it's simply marketing in my eyes.
Cheers,

i don't know how they get a "5 star" rating but i was told that the complaint i put in about the dealership that i bought my car from because of the troubles i had and the way they treated me would loose there 5 star rating if my car was "not fixable" guess what it wasn't and from what i have heard they loose there 5 star rating for one year?? not sure but this is what i was told buy a chrysler rep
