Dodge SRT-4 marked-up $4,999...

[}] [V] While I was waiting for my wife's Dodge Durango to be serviced at a local dealership (not where I purchased my GT) I noticed there were three 2004 Dodge SRT-4s on the showroom floor. MSRP on each one was under 20K, but, with the dealer mark-up, the purchase price was over 25K! Just wonder how many of these early models are being sold? Guess "supply and demand" rules, at least for now.

I have test drove vehicles that I might have considered buying and then they throw that dealer mark up on you. It's a quick goodbuy here. Of course they still try to talk you out of it. One thing is sticker price the other is "RIP OFF"

Where I live there was a Five Star Dealer that marked up the price of Dream Cruiser 1 by $2500 Needless to say I didn't buy mine there

FWIW, the Chrysler Dealer in Brunswick, GA has a Black SRT-4 for the sticker of $19,995, plus a $995.00 admin/cleanup add-in. In past dealings with them, the $995.00 add-in disappears if there is no trade-in to deal with.

This sounds stragely familiar to when the PT first appeared as a 2001 model... But the SRT-4 is one hell of a car, and people WILL pay it.
