I take it "turret plug" is the armoured version of the Marine term "jar head"?

Air Force 29 years myself. That would be "fly boy". er...no! That's Bill Clinton!

That's what I asked in Posting #2.

well...... since you asked, a "Turret Plug"... is a sort of useless soldier on a Tank crew, he just wastes space, or in essence plugs the turret. I am not that guy, but I like the nickname for forums, it provokes questions. There is no tanks at Fort Lewis, we have the Stryker mobile gun system... oh yeah, we take care of business...!

Strykers are freakin unbelievable. you aint seen nothin till youve seen 10 of em haulin down I-90 going to or coming back from training.

TP, take advantage of that seattle nightlife whenever you get a chance. buy a pioneer square pass and hit ALL the bars on a friday night, the pass will pay for all the covers at the doors. good times.

I am also stationed at Fort Lewis and also just bought a 2007 PT Cruiser this last month. I've already got new wheels and tires coming Thursday. Got AMSOIL tranny fluid and Booger shifter bushings already and some Satisfied Ceramic brake pads... hoping to install at the Fort's auto shop Friday. Also got new dash speakers, door speakers, 30 band EQ, amps, and a sub hoping to get in ASAP as well.

In 5th BDE, 2 ID ..... the "destined to never leave Washington State" brigade.

Lakersfan1,

STOP!!! Using anything BUT Chryslers own ATF +4 (or the synthetic version ATF +5) in the tranny could cause problems and "may" void your warranty if something should happen to any part of the transaxle. Please read the owners manual.

I've no intention of using hydraulic fluid in my transaxle. Sorry. It's just way too counterintuitive for me. It says right on the bottle that it's recommended for the T350 transmission, so I'm going to try this out even though I've been a loyal Royal Purple guy for many years.
