Man it must be great to be American! It's very difficult to get handguns in Canada as they are a restricted firearm and you need a special license blah blah blah....
There's enough red tape to be able to own any gun. I'd love to have a Glock! I am however the proud owner of a generic air rifle that is like lightening. No it's not fast, it just never hits the same place twice! I also have a Marksman slingshot... Enjoy your new purchase, looks like a sweet lil plinker. Sorry I don't have any pics to show, the only big guns I have are my arms! Ya don't I wish...![]() Ben

FYI, this is a 'gun'. Much more fun to shoot IMO.
![]() Those are personal weapons. Personal weapons are boring IMO, and kind of useless as a civilian unless you are an avid hunter .... and even still if I hunted I'd probably be more into longbows or something a little more challenging. But sitting in a forest for hours on end, in the cold, drinking beer isn't my cup of tea. I prefer to lay on a hard garage floor for hours while drinking a beer. |

Kleverklutz, would you believe that slingshots are illegal in my city

Now that's funny! No I wouldn't believe it, but if it were true, I'd laugh all the more!

Thegoldpt, check out the glock 30 compact in 45 ACP. For a compact it is very accurate, and the Glock 21 45ACP mags will fit.The glock 30 won't have as much felt recoil as a 10mm, and I think you would have more fun with it. The Glock 21 shoots real nice! I put a 6 inch barrel in mine, and adjustable target sights. I have the Glock 30, Glock 21, Glock 17, and the wife has a Glock 17, 1911-A1 45acp modified and a few others. She likes shooting the 45 most of all. Have fun!

Believe me it won't be my last gun.. I pretty much like the 45/10mm's the best. I liked the 30 when i shot it, but there is something about the kick of the 10mm that I liked alot.
I have to get something for CCW in the future, but it's going to be a while, so I am going to try some different guns for sure.

Having slept - literally - with an M-16 for many months, I outgrew a love of guns, but I did recently get a Break-barrel pellet rifle that does 1,000 fps !
- and doesn't upset the neighbors...![]()
